Able Planet Wins Six Awards for its Headphones
A CAPCO Program company in Colorado won several awards at 2014 International CES:
Able Planet Inc., a leader in audio and speech language technologies, announced that its Linx Fusion headphones won six Innovations Design and Engineering Awards at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas Jan. 7-10.
The awards included a “Best of Innovations” award in the Technology for a Better World category, the company said.
The Linx Fusion headphones represent the world’s first line of multi-sensory headphones that simultaneously transmit sound through skin, bone and ear for unsurpassed sound quality, clarity and speech intelligibility, the company said.
“It’s an honor to be recognized as an Innovations winner for 2014, and these multi-sensory headphones are just the beginning,” said Kevin Semcken, Able Planet CEO.
“Bayer MaterialSciences and Able Planet are planning to develop a full line of next-generation audio, communications and hearing health devices based on Linx Fusion proprietary technologies.”
The Linx Fusion headphones range from $299.99 to $349.99 and will be available in Q1 2014 at leading retailers worldwide, Able Planet said.
